All educational institutions of the country have been closed since March 17, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic

The government may take the decision to open all educational institutions in March, according to Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

The decision, however, will depend on the coronavirus situation in the country.

The minister made the statement while virtually addressing a winter clothes distribution program arranged by the relief and social welfare sub-committee of the Awami League on Wednesday.

All educational institutions of the country have been closed since March 17, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The closure was prolonged in several phases, and on December 18, the government again extended it through announcing that all educational institutes would remain shut till January 16.
